    no not really. I will get some more made anyway and just take the risk of not selling them straight away. (or Ebay them.....)
    I just need to get going, need some other parts at the same time. This will save some postage cost if I get it all in one delivery.

    As per an email just received from Sube Sports, major distributor for Cobra in the States:

    dimensions of the seat shell at the mounting bolts of the Suzuka GT are:
    front = 17-1/4" wide (438.15mm), and
    rear = 16-3/4" wide (425.45mm).

    Looks like Uwe's brackets should work, unless I don't understand the latest version.

    that should work, but you will need to shim the rear dim up to the same as front. You might get away without shims if the mounts will allow you to sit
    out of aligment. Might be possible.

    You mean shims between the seat and the mount, if I understand you correctly? No issues now that I know the actual measurements.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    yeah, looks like I am lucky this time with the new supplier I found. Only downside is that he not just round the corner. 200 mile round trip or delivery charge :mad:

    collected the bucket seat mounts and I am very happy with the quality.
    Could make a deal with the supplier and can report final price will be £48 for a pair of seat mounts (1 seat) plus postage. And that includes the powder coated finish!

    Looks like I am cursed when it comes to sheet metal shops. When I picked up the parts I have been told that the place was bought from a larger company which has "big" plans in bringing the business forward. I layman's terms that will probably mean they are not doing small batches anymore :mad: Fingers crossed!

    here some pictures. I will work shipping costs out over the weekend and will contact you individually for payment details.
