    30%omv(open market value),which is way out considering that they look for eur3000 for the vrt.if they knew that e30 m3's were changing hands for 18k to 20k and upwards,then the vrt would be cheep at 3000!imo

    an E46 M3 year 2006 would cost approx €20,000 in tax just to register it. You dont have to pay this every year,just the once off that you register it in Ireland, which is really nice of them:mad:

    So does that mean that any imported car (well...hehe...every new car....) you guys are paying 130% of what it would cost elsewhere ? :eek:

    no oscar , its a once off payment to re register the car on irish plates.its like you buying a car in austraila and bringing it back to new zealand,you would have to bring it to a vrt (vechile registration office )and pay the relevent importation tax.bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
