We will have a group arriving on Thursday (including myself) from Bilbao & Madrid via airplane and the rest driving directly from Barcelona and arriving on Friday morning.

John, Do you know if Filming will be ok on the parade lap?

 

My daughter has filmed 2 laps on christmas 2008. We didn't ask,
we have done it.

Hi Karl,

Did your daughter use a cage clamp with a broadcast quality HD camera which sticks out like a soar thumb?

Just dont want to get any of the organisers into any trouble!

 

I have to say first that we were absolutly alone one the track in the first
lap she filmed and she had the camera in her hand and i was driving not
so hard, even it was the first lap on this day.
You can see the video on friday or saturday.
And no, it was only a small Digitalcamera
A big cam you should fix on the cage, many people do this
and I think you can do this in the same way.
But I don't know how big the cameras are, so you have to try and find out

after reading on the homepage of the Nuerburgring GmbH we can
ask if it is allowed to film on this Lap at the Welcome center on Friday.

We are providing name badges, to be filled in by hand, as we have listed only the primary person for each order of tickets, but not the names of all participants.

Everyone in the "org team" will be wearing black Polo shirts (showing s14power.com on front and I believe the NS circuit on the back).

Dont forget to bring helmets if you are driving or plan to passenger in a caged car.

AFAIK, quite a few "Activity Directors & upper management" (aka GFs / wives) will also be present.



Also wanted to point out: video / filming on the nordschleife during public days is strictly forbidden and can result in a BAN for the day if they catch you.

Mission Control (wife) loves the Ring (even walks it with friends) and would really like to come but with all the talk of cars, the kids to take care of (2 1/2 year old to entertain & my eldest daughter is doing GCSE's) - she's staying at home!

I'm leaving tomorrow and still have a pile of office work to get through and a load of stuff on the car still!

Can't wait to meet everyone.

 

Late comers...

For those that would still like to join in, but dont yet have tickets. It will still be possible to join in.

1. Purchase a GP entrance ticket at the Radical front desk. 15 eur per person.
2. Come over to Event Area 2 and get your parking ticket. 20 eur per car. 10 euro per person (evening dinner).
3. Then you can bring your car in.


Regelung fuer Nachzuegler:
1. GP Ticket am Schalter bei Radical kaufen. 15 euro pro Person.
2. Nach "Event Area 2" vorbeikommen und Park Ticket = 20 euro pro auto besorgen. Abendessen = 10 euro pro person.
3. Mit Fahrzeug reinfahren.

drinking beer with my good friend Renate at the Lindenhof. Bought my 15 lap starter (jeez its got expensive here). Oh and its still 26 degrees

 

We arrived at Zur Burg at around 15:00, Thursday. First sight was a display of 5 Spanish M3s. Nice one, guys.
