I believe you already have my mobile.

I will not in general be available to do any map tuning, for the simple reason that due to lack of time I would not be able to give it the proper attention required. and if I start spending 2 hours per car tuning, I wouldnt be around for the meeting...

For the same reason I will not be lapping as much as usual, otherwise Im always on track and not around much.

I may do a few "taxi" rides though for anyone interested. Most of the Spanish guys are not so familiar with the Ring so may be interested in lapping with others in our group who are familiar with the track.


PS: we have 104 people signed up at the moment.

UPDATE:

A change in plans has become necessary concerning the tickets.

We will not receive the tickets until 21 June 2010, which makes it impossible to send them out to everyone in time.

Therefore, we will prepare for each participant a paket containing the tickets and parking permits. This can be picked up at the Nuerburgring Welcome Center. You will need to present your drivers license or passport in order to receive your paket.

Instead of a plastic "Ring Card" we are instead receiving paper tickets from the Nuerburgring GMBH. The difference in cost is approximately 3 euro and we will apply this toward the evening dinner (food, drinks, etc.).

We have received confirmation for the M3 Corso Round (formation lap) on Saturday afternoon, 17:30, provided that the race track is not closed down due to damages caused during the RCN race. We will need to gather all the cars at the Nordschleife entrance 15-20 minutes prior to that).

On Friday around mid-day, the tent is being setup at "Event Area 2" at the GP track.

Also on Friday from about 14:00, most people will be probably taking advantage of the available track time at the Nordschleife. So once you have picked up your tickets at the welcome center, you can check for people in both locations (GP circuit or Nordschleife entrance).

From the Dorint Hotel go through to the outer paddock then under the tunnel (past the wall plaque with all the drivers names) through to the infield area then it is fairly obvious.

You can see it fairly well on Google maps in satellite view.
