where have the Avatars gone ?

as per the heading, can't load any pics now ? Uwe's got one and it's just not fair

 

Yeah.... got same problem. It will not let me add one either.

 

Because its a new board you will have to reset your avatars, sigs etc as per the message at the top of the screen

@Falkster, I did read that but when I go into User CP ..edit avatar, there is a green dot in 'Do not use an avatar' that when I click on remains there and does not allow me to select an avatar.

Any ideas?

 

Just click on 'custom avatar' and then, depending where your avatar is stored, click on 'browse' and attach it from there

I must be missing something mate, custom avatar is not a clicky in the Edit avatar screen.. all it show is;


'Your Current AvatarNo Avatar Specified Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it. '

Ignore the section 'your current avatar' because you havent got one at the moment.

Click on 'use custom avatar' (it will show as a green dot in the section) then, if your pic is stored on your PC, click 'browse' and add avatar from you hard drive.

If you are using an url then add the url into the first option.

It is really easy mate honest......Ive just re-done it.

Problem has been fixed, you should now be able to use your custom avatars.
If there´s a problem with wrong size etc tell me.

i have an Avatar, oh life is complete again

 

Not yet complete, i think the avatars are bit to big.
I´m going to change the max possible size to 110x110px
because of consider to users with less monitor resolutions.

Please resize your existing avatars to max 110x110px.
