Went to work in the Lotus and spent half an hour slip-sliding all over the place. Was quite surprised how well it coped when I hit a hill; no real problem following a Range Rover passing others stuck half way up and getting no where.
made it to work ,finished up by 1 pm ,back home quick cuppa and out on the snowboard, takes 10 years off, until the morning anyway.
My situation is great here in New Zealand Shorts and T-Shirt all day long, temperature in the mid/low twenties, I might even go for a swim at the beach after work today!
Uwe, Feeling rather smug - Got up at 6, cleared the snow off the wife's Golf and drove 130 miles from deepest Surrey to Leicester, had my meeting and got home just before 7 this evening. I saw every kind of idiot on the road and laughed at the six foot snowman built in the outside lane of the M25 between Reigate and Leatherhead. Roads were pretty bad this morning but hat's off to the road crews as the M1 and M25 were ploughed and gritted for my return journey - so empty were the roads coming home that I could have been in the 1960's Oh, and here's why I didn't take the M3 - Cheers, Dave.
It just doesn't stop! Cleared my drive now 3 times and again 4 inches of snow this morning. On the other hand it's also a bit of fun.....
