I read in the NZ Hearld on Saturday that car 233 is for sale. Its red, done under 100,000kms and has been converted to RHD. It didnt have a price. Anyone on the forum own this car? Whats any Evo 1 worth over a standard E30 M3?
do you have a copy of the newspaper add..or the sellers details?? Don't think anyone on here from NZ has an M3 up for sale. Laurence.
it's such a nice car.. bet it's a shame to have to sell it. do you have any pics you can post up? Also.. might be a good idea to advertise on bimmersport, think there are a few people who might be interested. Laurence.
The ad I read said it was an Evo 1 so I guess it wasnt your car KiwiBloke? Sorry Old school BMW I dont have the ad. Cheers Nik
Laurance It's not a matter of having to sell, it 's more of having 2 cars and only me to drive it , so one of them has to go.
Wayne has a very good E30M3 ...red with black leather. He who snoozes....will be he who looses. This is a good car at a VERY good price.
Hi Kiwibloke, Can you please email me some pics (and a price) to william@qcd.co.nz. I have a friend who might be interested. Cheers
Hi Savant I haven't got any curent pic's as yet, however it does show a picture in the current Classic Car Mag, plus in the Current BMW Car Club DIXI with car run out to Hotel De Vin in Bombay Hills. The car is also going to be in the Ellerlsie Concourse Car Show in February.
I remember the car well from the last time I was in Auckland.. If I didn't have my current e30 M3 i'd buy it in a flash!! Wayne.. I know what you mean.. In the ideal workd it would be great to keep both, but as you say: 2 cars, 1 driver.. Speaking of 'Ellerlsie Concourse Car Show' - Rolland are you planning on going up to it this year? entering the Cab again?? Laurence.
Cheers, I will pick up a copy of classic car. If possible could you please email or PM a price or ballpark figure you are after. Cheers
Well, we will see. I will not enter...been there, done that, proved the point I am considering letting the Cabrio go. That needs to be qualified. 1) IF I offer...there is no negotiating...end of story. 2) I DO NOT CARE if the car sells (in fact, if this all becomes a hassle then it will be the last time this car is available before I die). 3). Car may be at the Concourse again this year. NZ BMW President will be looking after it. Not offered in the show.
Howdy, are you planning on turning up to the race meeting at Puke ? (for all of you non Kiwis that does not say/sound puke (as in chuck up)...it is pronounced pou key .... Savant...why don't you just tell your buddy to come have a great time at the race track ? Is that a goer ?
Hi Oscar, I was hoping to, what day is best to go? My car isn't ready so I won't really fit in! I will try to get my mate to come down for the day, then he should need less convincing. Cheers
You made it ! :4: What do you reckon ? We are going to post up soon some film and still shots.. but did you get to see the main racing ?
ALSO :....I had a brief look at that EVO for sale. Here is my initial comment : It had Evo 2 cam covers and plenum (paint wise). It had Evo 2 interior. It was NZ new and converted to right hand drive here. It has the same paint colour as my Cabrio...Misanorot. However, the paint is original and there are a couple of bumps. In my opinion, to correct the paint work (without going crazy like crazy Oscar) say two grand. At 97k original k's though (for all of you that work in mileage ...we are talking about say 50 something thousand miles from original) it is still , in my opinion, a very collectable car.
