Welcome - your rally car looks superb and I see you also have the ex Ian Godley M3 rally car. Do you build/have any circuit cars or do you just specialise in rally cars?
Hi Paul!! Welcome aboard All these nice cars & parts, it's a shame I live so far away! Any vids of the rally car you can post up?? Laurence.
Beautifullly prepared and really good attention to detail on your cars Paul - nice work! Oh and welcome to the site!
Blah blah... I trust that Paul has found here a safe and encouraging environment in which to observe/ discuss BMW motorsport type conversations...
Right...you are on peeling potatoes for at least two weeks Conrad Then after that, you're on toilet cleaning duties for the rest of the year..... :76:
Hi, Paul: Welcome!! As many others have said, your work looks impeccable!! It sounds like you could bring a wealth of knowlede and resources to this group of World-Wide M3 lunitics!
Thanks for the great comments it's nice to feel welcome in a place where we all share the same passion and I am talking s14 not pink gloves lol. I am going to be away now for a couple of days (going on a s14 spending spree watch this space) I will try and contact all forum members who pm'd me for parts as soon as get back. Thanks again for the welcome
Hi Paul, I was just looking at the pictures again . Couldn't help wondering about the air filter location in the first picture. Is there a special reason for that sort of setup ? Usually you try to separate the air intake from the engine bay to avoid sucking in hot air. Thomas
The car has a cold air duct pointing at thye air filter on this car when the picture was taken but since then it has been ducted behind the front bumper. One of the problem that happens in rallying is the amount of water and crap that comes into contact with the filter if you place it the wrong place. This explains the filter position on this car at this time.
