The rear box looks much larger than the supersprint one, so I doubt it's anywhere near as noisy. Best thing to do is try and get it noise tested, I guess.

 

It looks the same size to me.

I'd be very interested if we can confirm its under 95dB. I have the SS Race and got booted off the Ring because it was too loud; they measured 104dB. I like the sound, it's not too loud for me personally. But I need to replace it before I go to the Ring again.

On a car with a stock motor maybe. Any exhaust without the
center absorbers is going to be loud. Resonators also dont do much
in the way of noise supression, they are "narrow band" and only damp
out a very small frequency range. I went thru all sorts of trouble
with TUEV getting my exhaust system to conform to sound limits.
Just putting more steel wool in the muffler was not enough.
if TUEV gets very particular, they will tell you the number of
absorbers in the system hast to be the same as on the original factory setup,
thats because at the end of the day you need the absorbers.

Here it rained cats and dogs the whole weekend and I didn't want to pull out the car under this weather conditions...

But I will get it done this weekend as we have a free day here on thursday, so it is a long weekend and I should find this minute then!

I alread have the Supersprint race muffler which I'd like to keep, this is a race car anyway. Can you sell just the center piece without the muffler? If so, will it mate up to the SS race muffler directly (it's 50mm tube)? Price including shipping to Brighton, Michigan, USA?

I'm sorry but I am only shipping complete systems. Maybe you could use the muffler as a spare part...

As I didn't got it done to do a drive-by video of the system and can propose to everyone to here this system on a car at the Nürburgring this weekend.

The car is a Schnitzer-Warsteiner-Replika with "Tauber Motorsport"-letters on the top of the windscreen. The car has the middle section of my exhaust system, but a Eisenmann muffler. But in my opinion you can hear the loudness very good at that car...

I could also bring some systems to the ring if someones interested...
