We recently took part in the first 24h endurance race at Ascari (Ronda - Spain). The grid has a total of 42 cars of +20 years. Our choice was a BMW E30 320i (UK Team) + BMW E30 318i (Spanish Team). Our goal was to finish which we achieved with both cars despite one suffered from fueling problems throughout the whole race. The highlight was the team spirit and racing at nightime.
The cars were built with a limited budget in a garage .... BMW E30 M3 steering, front subframe and adjustable front suspensión among other upgrades made the handling awesome. Street tires = Michelin Sport Pilot 3. Fun building them and more fun racing them. Second 24 hour event we take part of ... great experience.
